What Makes Kaela's Practice Special

Therapy is an essential tool for individuals seeking to improve their mental and emotional well-being. It provides a safe and supportive space for people to talk through their struggles and gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Therapy can help people better understand themselves and their relationships, identify and change negative patterns, and develop coping strategies for managing life's challenges. It can also be a valuable source of guidance and support during difficult times, providing a non-judgmental and confidential space to explore issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Overall, therapy can help individuals lead more fulfilling and meaningful lives by promoting self-awareness, growth, and healing.

My therapy practice is dedicated to providing exceptional counseling services that prioritize the mental health and well-being of each client.

As a licensed and experienced therapist, I am able to provide comprehensive care to my clients utilizing evidence-based treatments that are tailored to each person's individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy), and other therapy modalities.

I have a track record of success in helping clients achieve their goals and lead happier, healthier lives utilizing holistic therapy approaches.

Holistic therapy is an approach to therapy that considers the whole person, including their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. This type of therapy focuses on achieving balance and harmony in all areas of a person's life, and often incorporates various techniques and practices, such as mindfulness, meditation, and yoga, to support overall health and wellness.

Holistic therapy is important because it considers the whole person, rather than just their symptoms, and aims to address the root causes of issues by promoting balance and harmony in all areas of their life. By taking a holistic approach to mental health, individuals are able to achieve greater overall well-being and more sustainable improvements in their mental health.

The peaceful ambiance of my therapy office provides a serene and tranquil environment for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.

The decor and lighting are intentionally chosen to create a calm and welcoming atmosphere, while the comfortable seating and layout of the space promote a feeling of safety and relaxation. Soft background music and the absence of distractions further contribute to the peaceful ambiance, allowing clients to focus on their therapy and feel at ease throughout their session.

The natural plants in my therapy office create a comfortable environment for clients. Plants have been shown to have a calming effect on individuals and can help to reduce stress and anxiety. By incorporating greenery into the space, clients can feel more connected to nature and experience a sense of peace and tranquility. In addition to their therapeutic benefits, the plants also provide a visually pleasing aesthetic, enhancing the overall ambiance of the office. Overall, the natural plants in my therapy office contribute to a welcoming and relaxing environment that supports the mental health and well-being of my clients.

The salt lamps in my therapy office are another element that contribute to the therapeutic environment. They emit a warm, amber glow that creates a calming and soothing atmosphere in the space. The soft light and relaxing ambiance can help clients to feel more at ease and can support them in achieving a more relaxed and focused state of mind. Overall, the salt lamps in my therapy office add to the overall serene and peaceful atmosphere. My therapy practice in Dublin, Ohio is strategically located to provide convenient access to individuals seeking professional counseling services in the Columbus area.

The office is easily accessible by car and public transportation, and parking is available on-site for clients. Additionally, the office is situated in a quiet and serene business park, providing a peaceful and comfortable environment for clients to address their mental health concerns.

The mixed-use business suite where my private therapy practice is located offers discrete access to counseling services for clients. The suite is designed to maintain a professional and confidential atmosphere, providing a discreet setting for individuals seeking therapy.

No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate

You may obtain a Good Faith Estimate of our charges upon request prior to scheduling with your therapist at Kaela Rae Vance LPCC-S, LLC. The No Surprises Act is a federal law which provides you with the right to a good faith estimate of the cost of services at our practice.  However, Ohio licensing board rules require us to provide you with the actual cost of our charges in a written format to which you must agree prior to our providing services. Please consider this practice policies document our required written notification, which has been made available to you prior to you being seen for services and prior to any billing. In most cases, it is impossible to estimate how many sessions you will need, and that will not be determined until your concerns are evaluated and will also vary based on the progress that you make, which depends in part on your efforts with the process. You will be free to discontinue services at any time or the services may otherwise be terminated in accordance with our practice policies defined herein. Although the No Surprises Act says that you may initiate a dispute process if the actual charges are substantially in excess of the Good Faith Estimated charges (i.e. if you are charged $400 more than the estimated cost for a session or for the total estimate provided), that is unlikely to happen and would be a violation of Ohio state licensing board rules, since you will be agreeing up front to actual charges per session prior to being seen. Dispute information is available upon request, however. Any changes to our fees will require a change in this practice policy, which you must agree to prior to having them go into effect, otherwise the existing fee structure will remain in effect.
