About the Luncheon Presenter - Christa Green:

Starting with a Bachelor of Science in Education as an Intervention Specialist, Christa's career has been dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of her students and now clients. For over 13 yrs, Christa served as an Intervention Specialist in local school districts and virtual public schools. Driven by her passion to provide the best support possible, Christa completed a national certification in Educational Therapy through the National Institute of Learning Development. Armed with 5 years of experience in this field, in addition to her parenting journey in navigating her own neurodiverse son's learning challenges, and her vast experience as an Intervention Specialist, she opened her own Educational Therapy practice, RootED Learning & Development Center (in Lewis Center), in July 2020. At her center, Christa serves a diverse clientele, ranging from 8-year-olds to adults, both locally (here in central Ohio) and virtually across the U.S. Many of her clients face unique challenges such as ADHD, Autism, Twice Exceptionality (2e), and other neurodiversities. Her approach is rooted in helping parents and professionals to ensure that they are able to identify the root cause of each client's learning challenges, empowering them to understand and utilize their strengths to overcome areas of struggle. Through a tailored toolbox of strategies, she fosters growth in cognitive development, executive functioning, processing, memory, life skills, college/career readiness, self-advocacy, and essential 'adulting' skills.
