About the event

A Learning Luncheon and social / networking event for Columbus therapists, hosted by Kaela Rae Vance LPCC-S, LLC, spotlighting featured presenter Rebecca Krupar, PT, INHC. As a holistically-minded therapist herself, Kaela has found that many of the clients approaching her for counseling have become frustrated with the allopathic healthcare system that seems to only want to medicate them and not address underlying health-related contributing factors to their mental health concerns. Understanding the value of a holistic perspective, Kaela wanted to offer a luncheon for clinicians who have an interest in learning more about incorporating a holistic perspective into their practice. At this luncheon, Rebecca Krupar, a holistic health coach will be providing us an introductory presentation on "Healing the Mind & Body: The Benefits of Holistic Health in Your Therapy Practice".

  • 11am, Doors open.
  • Brief social time as people arrive.

About the Luncheon Presenter - Rebecca Krupar, PT, INHC:

Growing up in a household with parents who modeled healthy eating habits and the value of exercise and nature, Rebecca recalls starting her personal health and wellness journey in 8th grade while researching and writing about a career for a school assignment. Fast-forward a few years and Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Bowling Green State University. She practiced as a Physical Therapist for over a decade. She witnessed the allopathic model of treatment, rather than prevention. She knew many patients wanted better; and they all deserved better. Rebecca pursued certification to become an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. Today Rebecca guides and supports client's in their pursuit of a healthier lifestyle; beyond diet and nutrition, but also making simple shifts in relationships, career, physical activity, and spirituality that transforms her client's lives.
